Robert Constant spent the first part of his life studying and working in fine art. Later, he came to work in film. Teaching himself how to use a camera, Robert became fascinated with what could be shown through a lens, how perception of 'real' things could be directed. He states, " I walk around and look for the small things, the abstracts and absolutes of daily things that are overlooked. I walk and I fill my eye. My mind winks when the retina is full, and that is when the photo is taken."
