In collaboration with Smart Design Group and Vancouver International Airport (YVR), Art Works Gallery has proudly curated a striking collection featuring collage artist Ken Prescott and photographer Douglas Hood.
The highlight of the Plaza Premium Lounge in YVR’s newly expanded international wing is the captivating collage work of Ken Prescott. To preserve the intricate textures and details of his original pieces, high-resolution scanning techniques were used, while a resin spot gloss finish enhances key elements, creating a dynamic, dimensional effect. This technique, which Prescott has mastered through his signature blend of mediums and finishes, makes the artwork appear almost three-dimensional—an unforgettable visual experience for travelers.
In the Premium Transborder Lounge, Douglas Hood’s stunning original photographs bring a vibrant and contemporary energy to the space. His work showcases some of the most breathtaking locations across Vancouver and British Columbia, offering a sense of place and connection to visitors from around the world.
