Christy Carleton paints rugged landscapes of snowy peaks, mountain vistas, rolling plains, hay bales, and fields of green and gold, and seascapes of foggy ocean coasts, bay breezes, and sunset light effects. She has exhibited throughout the United States, Panama, France, and Japan, and has taught visual arts and art history in the university level.
