  • Gronowski was born in Florida and resides in California, United States. He attended the Columbus College of Art and Design receiving a two year scholarship. He studied painting and drawing with Ohio artist’s Fred Leach and Frederick Graff. Gronowski worked as a designer and printmaker; as well, he was a founding member of the Phoenix Art Press in Phoenix, Arizona. Gronowski moved to Los Angeles in 1987 and founded the handpress with artist Joe Hruby.

    Gronowski has been working as a painter, printer, photographer, sculptor and designer since 1980.

    “It takes two to make art. The artist and the viewer. I make art for my inner self and then for the viewers inner self.”
