The contemporary paintings and prints of Lisa Kesler are known for their rich color palette, stylized forms and repeated patterns. “In my work, I explore color, surface pattern and texture.” Lisa is known for her innovative and experimental use of materials and techniques and finds much of her inspiration in the process. She also looks for ideas for her art in fabric designs, vintage illustrations and the environment around her rural Illinois home.

Ms. Kesler earned her BFA from the University of Illinois where she studied painting and printmaking. Her work can be found in private and corporate collections throughout the country. When she isn’t busy in her studio, she enjoys spending time with her two teenage sons, gardening, cooking, knitting and running.
