Born in Morocco in 1946, Zohar lives in Canada since 1974. Trained as an architect, he has worked mainly as a writer/producer of radio dramas and documentaries for Radio-Canada, and as a translator.
His photographs have been shown in Vancouver galleries, including The Ironworks (June 2003),
and can be seen on his Web Site at http://www3.telus.net/zohar.
The hundreds of driftwood pictures he has taken for the last fifteen years are part of his ongoing exploration of the poetic and philosophical theme of “seeing.”
