Feature Artist | Warren Goodman
A visual artist based in North Vancouver, Warren Goodman is most widely recognized for his larger-than-life, richly textured and colourful landscapes. Goodman’s art often reflects his lifelong passion for the outdoors, and his style and approach to painting has been greatly influenced by renowned BC artist Gordon Smith, his friend and mentor.
“I have known Warren for ten years or more, and have seen his progress as a very serious artist. He has worked to create his own personal image. His subject is drawn from nature but then his painting takes over, and he balances subject with the act of painting. At this time Vancouver has some of the best artists in the country. I know and admire them all. I think Goodman deserves to be recognized as an important artist working in Canada today.” – Gordon Smith
