Blue Heron Standing Tall

20 x 16 inches

acrylic on canvas

"I feel fortunate to live in a place where I can see birds and wildlife every day. A simple walk to the nearby pond offers a chance to see herons, ducks, songbirds, and even beavers, if you are lucky. I can’t help but be fascinated when I see a Great Blue Heron wading in the pond - usually completely focused on the water and whatever it sees there. This is one of many paintings that allows me to appreciate the wildlife in my own backyard."
