"La Vie en Bleu" is an original acrylic on board painting by Miriam Aroeste, a Vancouver-based artist originally from Mexico City. Rooted in Abstract Expressionist and Minimalist traditions, Aroeste's work operates on an instinctive, spiritual level, inviting viewers to engage with line, colour and gesture as a mirror to their own emotions. Trained at Emily Carr University of Art and Design and having studied in Paris, Rome, Italy and Mexico City, Aroeste brings a rich international perspective to each canvas. Her paintings have been exhibited throughout Canada, the US, France and Mexico, and are collected locally and internationally.
