"Homage To The Ocean I" is an original sculpture by Swiss-born, Vancouver-based artist Thomas Born. Two sweeping forms in reclaimed cedar and steel rise from a steel base, their fluid curves evoking the movement of ocean waves. The natural warm grain of the cedar contrasts with the darkened steel surround, creating a dynamic interplay between organic and industrial materials.
